Business and Economy > Shopping and Services > Sex
If you wish to suggest a site with Adult content, please read and consider the following guidelines before making a final category selection and/or completing the site suggestion form:
Our definition of an Adult website
A website that contains sexually explicit audio, text, or images (of partial or full nudity) that in general could not be considered as poetic or artistic, and are specifically intended to highlight sexual organs, positions and/or practices for the purpose of titillation/sexual arousal.
NOTE: As with all site suggestions, we reserve the right to decline a listing without notification or justification and to edit any suggested site details in the interest of providing a clear and concise search service.
Adult Site Review Criteria
Category: We will only accept adult site listings for the Business and Economy > Shopping and Services > Sex category, or any of its sub-categories. Please DO NOT suggest an adult site to any other category section as it will be deleted without review.
Declines: We will decline listings where any of the following are present or observed:
Child pornography
Spurious pop-ups, consoles and multiple exits
Large amount of advertising compared to content
Limited content, or content hosted elsewhere
Link sites, ranking sites, top-sites, etc. with no additional content (excluding directories)
Hidden or ambiguous entry point
Numerous disguised entry points as links to voting/ranking sites
False claims regarding site content or offers of content
Content Warnings: It is not a requirement, but we give greater consideration to adult sites that display a warning or notice regarding the nature of their site content, especially when combined with links to resources for parents and guardians related to filtering adult content on the web.
Tips for Adult Site Suggestions
DO: take your time to find the correct category for your site
DO: be honest about your site
DO: use general language to describe your site and try not to be overly explicit
DON'T: suggest adult affiliate program links
